Trouble is, I get a message that says incompatible software, namely Trend Micro Internet Security, is installed. Well, I used to use it. I didn't find it all that good. It let in viruses that should have been blocked. So, I uninstalled it. I also took it out of the registry. But System Configuration Utility still has it listed. I unchecked the entries but it makes no difference. I can't install AVG.

Can you help?

Most anti virus programs have specialized uninstallers and Trend Micro is no different. Check out the link.

Trouble is, I don't have a Trend Micro folder. The program has been uninstalled, however, somewhere on the computer there are still some leftovers that are blocking the new program installation. That's what I need help with.
