Hi,I am using a Dell inspiron 1520, which recently was formatted. It originally had Vista installed, and after formatted they installed it W 7 ultimate, but when i try to install some applications it gives me a screen saying this:
"internal error: Failed to expand constant "userappdata". Any solutions to this. Thanks in advance.

Some applications? Such as? Have you tried using the compatibility troubleshooter to install the apps? Right click on the executable that installs the file, then select "troubleshoot compatibility", and follow the prompts.
