Hello,

Any help on this is appreciated. I cannot boot my computer in normal mode. When I try to, it gets just past the green loading bar and then sits at a black screen with the HD churning and churning.

I can boot in the various safe modes but it is very slow when I do.

Once booted, something is preventing me from running Norton, Windows Defender, Spybot, Adaware, malwarebytes, Hijackthis etc. I basically am denied from running any virus removal stuff I have used in the past.

I am not sure what next steps to take. Any help is appreciated.
