2issues: 1.PC stuck up and hard disk not recognized, 2.limited account not working
Issue 1 :

* I have bought the current hard disk one month back due to failure of the previous one. Both are of Seagate.
* My PC stuck up suddenly while working with the noise from hard disk ( clicking noise )
* When I restarts the PC the PC stops booting after the BIOS screen with the error messages like "unable to load OS" or "disk not found".
* If I remove and replace the hard disk connection, it works normally. But, the PC stuck up after 1 day or after few hours.
* I have performed the hard disk self tests with Seatools software from Seagate. It has passed all the steps.
* Why this is happening with a new hard disk?
* Is the issue is with the hard disk or hard disk controller?

OS : XP SP3
Mother Board : Intel ICH7 family

This is the event viewer report when the PC stuck up :

* It has worked normally till yesterday. Issue started today.
* I have two accounts in my PC. One is Admin and other is Limited.
* Whenever I try to copy files from one drive to another or create a new file in any of the drive, the following error message comes.

Looking at what's posted...

I would uninstall the NIC and reinstall it, using Device Manager.

7A STOP errors...seem to be fairly nondefinitive.

You can take that .dmp file and see if it yields any useful data, Help Diagnosing BSODs And Crashes (BC) - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/176011/how-to-receive-help-diagnosing-blue-screens-and-windows-crashes/.

The error noting Acronis...may be fixed by uninstalling/reinstalling it and updating same.

You say that you ran SeaTools...do you have a Seagate hard drive installed? If so, did you run the long/extended test or the short one? The long test is better.

I don't know anything about limited accounts...but you can create another if you think it's damaged.

Actually, Acronis is not currently installed when the issue started. I have just installed and uninstalled one month back.

Yes, I am using Seagate hard disk. I have performed the following tests.
1.SMART
2.Short disk self test
3.Long disk self test

Can we confirm the issue as hardware issue if the hard disk makes clicking noise when system hangs up?

Thank you.

I've experienced another BSOD error today. I have scanned with Norton Internet Security, Spybot, and Malwarebytes and deleted one Trojan.

Do clicking sound from the hard disk means hard disk is going to fail?It has passed all the tests of Seatools.
Is there any possibility with virus or a bad RAM can cause these clicking sounds from hard disk?

"The device, \Device\Harddisk0\D, has a bad block."

Your hard drive has a problem...you say that it passed the extended/long diagnostic test?

The clicking noise would seem to confirm what the report indicates...the drive has a problem and is unreliable.

Disappearing/unrecognized hard drives...is normally an indication of hard drive problems also.
