My computer runs on Microsoft Windows XP version 2002, service pack 2 when I try to open Word or Excell 2003 other application I get this error window "The operating system is not presently configured to run this application". How do I configure the operating system to be able to run my applications?

I would try uninstalling Office and reinstalling it...thinking that some Office key files are damaged.

An alternative would be to try a repair of Office, but I prefer uninstall/reinstall routines myself.
