Windows System Defender

I have just got rid of windows system defender using MBAM by following th thread that was made on the website, but on windows security center it says that windows system defender is used a malware protection and firewall even though it is not there. My main antivirus is Eset smart security and normally thats there under the headings but now it is not, and i cannot open up eset smart security it says, that error communicating with kernal, i have tried to uninstall it via program and feeatures but there is no uninstall option

please help
