I need a laptop/notebook for college I am between a HP and a Sony with intel pentium M (centrino). I don't want a big desktop replacement as I'm going to be moving a lot (but neither one with a little screen), 14.1"-15.4" probably. I will be studying computer science so i'll be doing programming and other stuff, I will also use it to watch dvds, surf the web, and ill probably need a moderate video card for games. My budget is at the most $2000. Any suggestions? Thanks a lot.

My wife has a Sony VAIO and she loves it! It's about $1400 - $1500 last time I checked.... if you're looking for a less expensive, i'd look around BestBuy.com.
