i have this problem. whenever i press the windows key button on the keyboard the computer starts to shutdown. whenever i press the F5 button the search box initiates. and the master volume mutes all by itself. i have reformatted the computer but the problem still remains. can anyone please help?

Try that key board on another machine to see if it is the culprit.

nope sir, its not the culprit. i think its some kind of a malware or virus or something? because the master volume mutes all by itself. its not only the keyboard but the functions of some other programs does not work correctly.
