Hello there!

My name is Sara, and I am an American currently living in southern France.

My troubleshooting style is to try and solve a problem with all I know about computers, and then (since that is often not enough) to do as much research as possible to avoid taking the first apparent solution (aka registry cleaners). I think this site is great, and was already registered, although it seems my account was deleted.

I have a new Asus notebook that I bought hurriedly before I left, running Windows Vista 64 but planning to upgrade once I learn the best way to do that. (My upgrade cd is in the states!)

I don't have much technical knowledge to contribute to the forums, but I really appreciate all you people who help us solve our problems, and do my best to follow instructions!

(P.S. does anyone have any advice for computer help in France? Fingers crossed, I won't need to take my computer in anywhere, but it's always good to know what to do just in case!)
