I am running windows xp and on dial-up. I had to use my restore cd and as a result lost all updates previously downloaded. Is there anyway I can backup those updates? It takes forever to download I think was 28 updates. I have the SP-2 cd.

Here is a link to XP SP2

Install the SP2 disk and then go to the windows update site and retrieve the remaining few updates. This should cut down on the number of downloads you have to make.
