I've tried all of these in safe mode:
Super Anti Spyware
Malwarebytes
Noadware
Avira
Vundofix
Combofix
Ncleaner

Still, Whenever I clicked Combofix, a message would come up stating "Kaspersky is running," when I deleted all registry keys and have uninstalled kaspersky a while ago. My computer shuts down on its own, also whenever It starts up, it asks me to install new hardware. It runs slow at times and I just see random openings of files I can't understand in the task manager. PLEASE HELP ME

Hello and welcome to Bleeping Computer

We apologize for the delay in responding to your request for help. Here at Bleeping Computer we get overwhelmed at times, and we are trying our best to keep up. Please note that your topic was not intentionally overlooked. Our mission is to help everyone in need, but sometimes it takes just a little longer to get to every request for help. No one is ignored here.

If you have since resolved the original problem you were having, we would appreciate you letting us know. If not please perform the following steps below so we can have a look at the current condition of your machine.

Please include a clear description of the problems you're having, along with any steps you may have performed so far.

Please refrain from running tools or applying updates other than those we suggest while we are cleaning up your computer. The reason for this is so we know what is going on with the machine at any time. Some programs can interfere with others and hamper the recovery process.

Even if you have already provided information about your PC, we need a new log to see what has changed since you originally posted your problem.
  • Please download OTL from following mirror:
  • Save it to your desktop.
  • Double click on the Posted Image icon on your desktop.
  • Click the "Scan All Users" checkbox.
  • Push the Posted Image button.
  • Two reports will open, copy and paste them in a reply here:
    • OTL.txt <-- Will be opened
    • Extra.txt <-- Will be minimized
In the upper right hand corner of the topic you will see a button called Options. If you click on this in the drop-down menu you can choose Track this topic. I suggest you do this and select Immediate E-Mail notification and click on Proceed. This way you will be advised when we respond to your topic and facilitate the cleaning of your machine.

After 5 days if a topic is not replied to we assume it has been abandoned and it is closed.

Hi,

you seem to have run a large amounts of tools over the last couple of days. Have you been getting help somewhere else? Could you show me the thread?

Please provide the logs you still have from ComboFix, exehelper and malwarebytes. Please also provide the content of the file fixme.reg on your desktop.

I didn't think the problem with my cpu was too serious so I just browsed through some other people's issues and found those tools and went about scanning the way those forums had said. Obviously it didn't help me any. I will post up the logs that i have though. I saved fixme.reg as fixme.txt so you could see the contents too.

Hi,

following other people's fixes can be very dangerous and I consider you very lucky to have a running PC after the orgy of fixes you applied to it.

Especially Combofix should not be run without supervision:
ComboFix is an extremely powerful tool which should only be used when instructed to do so by someone who has been properly trained.
It is intended by its creator to be used under the guidance and supervision of a Malware Removal Expert, not for private use.
Using this tool incorrectly could lead to disastrous problems with your operating system such as preventing it from ever starting again.

Please do not run Combofix on your own

Finally I would like you to use the following instructions to remove your old anti virus programs from WMI:
In reference to the "Kaspersky" warning you probably have remnants that CF has detected. Lets fix that.

Please do this.....

1. Click on the Start menu.
2. Select Run...
3. Type wbemtest and click OK
4. Connect to root\SecurityCenter
5. Click on Query
6. Type in SELECT * FROM AntiVirusProduct and click on Apply

Posted Image

If there is more than one result, it means there is more than one Antivirus program installed. Double click on each result to view the properties for that Antivirus product. Identify the product(s) installed and DELETE any records for an Antivirus software that is no longer installed.

Please also provide a gmer log:
Please download GMER from one of the following locations and save it to your desktop:
  • Main Mirror
This version will download a randomly named file (Recommended)
  • Zipped Mirror
This version will download a zip file you will need to extract first. If you use this mirror, please extract the zip file to your desktop.
  • Disconnect from the Internet and close all running programs.
  • Temporarily disable any real-time active protection so your security programs will not conflict with gmer's driver.
  • Double-click on the randomly named GMER file (i.e. n7gmo46c.exe) and allow the gmer.sys driver to load if asked.
  • Note: If you downloaded the zipped version, extract the file to its own folder such as C:\gmer and then double-click on gmer.exe.

    Posted Image
  • GMER will open to the Rootkit/Malware tab and perform an automatic quick scan when first run. (do not use the computer while the scan is in progress)
  • If you receive a WARNING!!! about rootkit activity and are asked to fully scan your system...click NO.
  • Now click the Scan button. If you see a rootkit warning window, click OK.
  • When the scan is finished, click the Save... button to save the scan results to your Desktop. Save the file as gmer.log.
  • Click the Copy button and paste the results into your next reply.
  • Exit GMER and re-enable all active protection when done.
-- If you encounter any problems, try running GMER in Safe Mode.

Hi,

the logs show signs of a past infection, but no sign of an active one. What trouble are you still having with your PC?

Random resets, very slow internet at times. for some reason whenever I turn my computer on when it gets into windows it says windows found new hardware. Also everytime i search with malwarebytes or Noadware a few errors come up repeatedly. To top that off which I don't know if it's an error or not, all of the icons on my desktop when not in safe mode have this blue shade behind the writing underneath them like i have selected them when none are selected. hope that helps. I'm running in safe mode with networking right now. do you know what dds.scr is? that is on my desktop and i don't want to touch it.

Hi,

I do know what dds.scr is, it is a diagnostic tool similar to OTL.

Could you please provide a log of Malwarebytes where it found something? Are the hits usually in the system volume information?

Please also provide the items found by NoAdware.

When did these symptoms start? Is system restore working and could you restore it to a previous state?

System restore does work, however I'd rather not use it yet due to newly saved documents in between the last errors and the present ones. attached are both malwarebytes and noadware logs.

Hi,

As a general point of advice: it is always a good idea to have backup of your personal data, in case your hard disk fails.

More to the point though: I don't see any active malware on your system that could really cause the problems you are having. However you have run a large amount of tools which may have serious side effects. This is why I would advise to restore to an early point and deal with the infection more discretely if it is restored.

System restore does not affect your personal files. For more information see here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/306084
