The windows XP reinstallation set up part of the disk doesn't even recognize my sata hard drive.... But the remaining operating sys does. I tried every seting in my F2 key for drive zero, it even did a scan disk by itself and said there were missing files. I just want to wipe it clean. I can't believe i can't reformat the disk. Windows does power up but won't let me go on the internet I realy would like to save the 80 gig HD but am willing to by a new HD but not sure if im going to have a problem with the processor and ram once i go and purchase a new HD feed back would be greatly aprciated from the PC GODS!!!!! ALL HAIL THE PC GODS!!!!!!!!!!! hahahaLOL

System manufacturer and model?

Do you have a Microsoft XP install CD...or do you have recovery/restore/install disks furnished by a manufacturer (e.g., Dell, eMachines, HP, etc.)?
