Hello emohan,

Posted Image

It could be that Webroot is keeping those in place. Spysweeper is famous for not allowing changes that need to be made. What I would like for you to do first is make sure MBAM (Malwarebytes ) is updated, then go offline and disable Webroot completely. Run a scan with MBAM, letting it remove what it finds. Reboot your computer, then enable Webroot to come back online and post the report from MBAM, along with a new HijackThis log, please.

Thanks,
tea

Every little bit helps! :)
You can even use your credit card! Thank you!

Hello,

Please only post what I ask for. I don't need any of that except for the MBAM report. You're making more unnecessary work for us both by doing that.

I need for you to go offline completely and disable ALL your protective programs after you download ComboFix, but before you run it. Sometimes those programs interfere with it, and we don't want that! :(

This tool is not a toy. If used the wrong way you could trash your computer. Please use only under direction of a Helper. If you decide to do so anyway, please do not blame me or ComboFix.

1. Download this file - combofix.exe
http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe
http://www.forospyware.com/sUBs/ComboFix.exe

2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.
3. When finished, it will produce a log for you. Post that log in your next reply please, along with a new HijackThis log.

Note:
Do not mouseclick combofix's window while it's running. That may cause it to stall.

If ComboFix will not run the first time, then rename ComboFix.exe to emohan.exe and try it again. :(

Thanks,
tea

It seems to be running ok right now. Does it show anything in the logs? Also, i know you didnt ask for it earlier, but that root kit log i posted earlier found some things...does that matter? Or do you think i am clean now?

Hello,

There wasn't anything out of place in the last rootkit logs you posted. :( The following will uninstall ComboFix and will implement some cleanup procedures:

Click Start > Run and copy/paste, or type the following bolded text into the Run box and click OK:

ComboFix /u

Make sure your AntiVirus is back in place and have a scan with it. By that time you should know if everything is running well now, so let me know. :(

Thanks,
tea
