MSconfig changes in Window 7

i have window 7 test version installed
however When i tried to install Act of war: Direct action, it didn't work
and since i have herd how the game does not like more than 3 GB of rams i change the MSconfig settings and set a limit on the memory from the Advance options

after i restarted my computer
it crashed...
and i am unable to undo the msconfig changes, because i am unable to access msconfig

i have tried to boot into safemode and load msconfig, however it crash before it was was fully loaded
i have tried the automatic repair in window 7... and it didn't work
i have tried to use the command prompt in the recovery disc for window 7, but it says i did not have privilege to access msconfig

anyother ways to undo it?

i have a lot of assessments in the C: drive which i have not backed up

any help would be appreciated
