I've been unable to get a proper scan all day. I've tried intermittently for the last 14 hrs or so, checked my browser (IE8) settings to make sure scripting was set to "enabled", made sure Secunia is added to Trusted sites---even un-installed/re-installed...still not working.

Any tips/tricks/tools/advice?

Chances are pretty good Secunia has their own forum and you're better off going there. I've had Secunia for over two years and never had a problem with it. So I dunno.

Thanks for the response, as it turns out the issue is resolved. :trumpet:

:flowers: Yes, they do have their own forum, why didn't I check it? (Duh)

There was at least one thread that mentioned Secunia was doing "maintenance" over the weekend, and to be patient. Other posters there wrote that their issues were resolved as early as yesterday AM. Mine was still not connecting. Using nothing more than an un-educated hunch, I un-installed (again), this time using Revo, then ran an online scan and clicked the upgrade to PSI link at the bottom of the online scan results, which worked. Seems that the "necessary Java Applets" needed to run PSI became lost or corrupted or damaged or whatever, and the upgrade re-installed PSI correctly.
