Ok when i run a Java applet the icon pops up in the bottom right hand corner..

I've gone into the control panel and unticked so it not ment to pop up but it still does when i run a Java applet.. Why is this?

I've also set it in the notification area to hide.. AND IT STILL POPS UP?!?!?!

WHY!?

How can i stop it from popping up?

EDIT: Move to more appropriate forum

Did you do the last instruction on the How-to that zbd posted, Samuel?

Right click the icon and hide it?

Try this from the comments.

Click on 'Start', 'Settings', 'Configuration screen', there you should find an Icon about the Java Console, if you doubleclick it, you'll get a screen in which you can disable the console.

I use Vista, where is settings?
