Was searching online, and don't know how I did it, but I have a malware/virus-or something like that
an anti virus system pro keeps popping up and I can't get it off my computer
also a windows security alert comes up......for a scan
every scan they do finds over 30 critical viruses, etc.
I am using the avg, which has always done a good job for me
I'm running
microsoftr windows xp home edition version 2 service pack 3
hi speed dsl
I'm computer illiterate...........help

every so often a window pops up saying windows security alert, i clik on it, it starts the scan
when scan is done, i get results (bad) and the only thing to click on, is to get the
new computer anti virus........i do so (dumbly) cause there is no way to get the bugger off my screen.........
and then it takes me to a page which says it is not available
thanks for anything you can do for a dummy like me
