When I start my computer it doesn't display anything on monitor and 5 small beeps can be listened then a small break then 5 small beeps and so on. After plugging off system and waiting for 15 minutes, it starts and displays correctly. Then again it creates the same problem next time. My machine is HP desktop.
How can I resolve this issue?

Depends on the bios chip maker.

AMI (American Megatrends') 5 beeps means its a processor failure it could also be a memory problem try re seatting the memory
AST Reading data from keyboard controller failed (POST 5)

If its any other bios manufactures then you may not be counting the beeps correctly.

Thank you for your reply. I tried resetting RAM, but in vain.
Its a HP Compaq desktop system and mother board is manufactured by Intel.
There are small 5 beeps then a stay then again 5 small beeps and so on.
