So for some reason i'm no longer able to View quicktime movies from my digital camera. The movie window opens, will actually play the audio but the video appears all scrambled. The odd thing is, is that i'm able to view other movies from other web sites such as Facebook and Youtube. But if I shoot a video from my camera, download it to my computer I get the problem. And just like most things, It use to work fine. Thanks for the help.

So I tried the QT Lite version. It's even worse. The files won't even open at all. And I get the search for a program to run it warning box. Is there anything else I can try?

Uninstall/reinstall QuickTime, it may be damaged. If there are updates available, install those.

It's the program you have elected to open/read those files.

Ya i've unfortunatly tried that also. I think i've unistalled and reinstalled it about 4 times and I still have the problem. Could it be some kind of conflict with another media player?

I would download some QT file...and see how it plays on the system.

The problem may lie in the files themselves...it's worth trying to rule such out.

I would also check Event Viewer for possible clues, How To Use Event Viewer - http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/40108/how-to-use-event-viewer/.

Well the only problem I seem to have are the QT movie files from my camera. I have a new camera and I have the same problem. So it's obviously not the camera causeing the problem. It's not the files cause I can upload them to facebook and they will play fine.
