Still continuing in my quest for music and files, I have come across this program. As with so many things, I have heard mixed reviews. It is, I think, free and people have reported no viruses / spyware, although it may be a little slow. People say it has some rare stuff, which would suite my bizarre musical taste! But, at the end of the day, I fear it may have the same dangers as any other P2P program. Wonder if anyone has heard reports about Soulseek?

As we any P2P program, there are risks. Don't download executables - obviously  But if you are going for media files you should be OK.

No spyware/adware/malware :flowers:

Thanks. No spyware etc is a definite plus. I think part of the answer is to use things like this sparingly. I might give it a go, but whenever I am not using it, tell my firewall to deny the program access to the Internet. Does sound worth a try.
