Hi all
Bit of a prob using "Avast. When I try to do a scan of C: drive using Avast It always stops at 13%. It stops on a file which I believe is a SID file.
The file starts S-1-5-21 and goes on for another 36 numbers interspersed with dashes( Don't see the point in putting all the numbers down)
Any ideas ??

vomog1,
Try a boot scan with avast, if the file is corrupt it will tell you. It found 2 corrupt on my D partition a long time ago. It will give you a location and with that info you can find out what program or process it belongs to.
