Started having browser hijacking problems around 1 week ago. Spent time researching web fixes and ran Malwarebytes, Avast, SBC Yahoo AntiSpy and Spybot without success which brought me to you with high hopes! Thank you in advance for your help.
Following and attached are my logs.

After reviewing some of the other posts I realized that I should try to be a bit more specific on the problem I am having. When I do a Google search and select one of the choices it sends me to a different site, not the one the link was for.

UPDATE! Last night Windows did an automatic update and then upon restarting it gave me a blue screen "A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. A thread tried to release a resource it did not own. 0x000000E3 (0x80558BE0, 0x8A307548, oxoooooooo, 0x00000002)

I tried to do a repair using the Windows XP disk and now I'm caught is a "setup is being restarted" loop.

I ended up re-installing Windows. Hopefully that's the end of it.
