I recently opened infected downloaded file and the mayhem started... Within few seconds a grayed pop-up started taking over different functions.
Most of all it trashed my anti-virus (avast) and now, no matter what I do it won't let me install any new anti-virus software. The computer is very slow and
crashes constantly (if I'm searching in program files). I've tried the recovery, but these days they put that on the hard drive and I don't have cd-rom discs,
and obviously the virus took that over as well (just my luck...) and the system is telling me that it can't recover because some file is missing. Can someone
please help me with this ?
