I have been using the WIN7 RC Build 7100 for months from another drive on my XP machine and really like it. However, one problem I have almost daily is that when going to open a folder, Explorer locks up and I have to END TASK after which it works fine again.

Someone suggested MEMTEST so I ran 9 passes over 12 hours last night and all came up clean.

Anyone else having this problem, or heard of a reason for it?

You might try downloading Shellexview and see what's causing the problem. I haven't used this application myself, but I've seen it recommended.
