IE pop up 'allow activex and plugins to run'

Hello everyone: I am constantly getting a popup which i must click on yes to continue. it's an IE (i have 8) pop up that asks "Do you want to allow software such as active X controls and plug-ins to run" Hope I just need to click or unclick somewhere. Computer: XP pro with 3, IE 8 Please hurry, going crazy :thumbsup:

Well...your answer should depend on the website trying to run ActiveX controls.

If it's Microsoft...yes. If it's anyone else, you need to answer based on your confidence that the website is trustworthy.
