HElPP!!!!!!!!!!

I have a laptop (inspiron 1200) which does not have wireless. i can use the internet from a connection used for our home computer, but what do i need to use wireless on my laptop so i can use it away from home?? i've heard i can buy a wireless card-is that all i need? please can anyone help?????

Im not to sure but if you ring up a local computer shop they will be able to tell you all the hardware you need, and the price.

to go wireless travelling you can
1.buy a PCMCIA 802.11g cardbus adapter. a little slot type card that goes into the side of your laptop.
2.if you want to use it home, you can purchase, inexpensively, an 802.11g router too. that will enable you to have up to 4 computers connected with a wire, and enable wireless internet with computers that have a wireless card.(within certain distance limits)
both can be purchased under 100 each
