I've almostAbout daily logged on to Facebook for months now. About a month ago I started occassionally getting the message that I couldn't log in due to not having the proper cookies, but after trying multiple times would eventually get on. Now no matter how I try to sign in (email response link, direct website log in, etc.), my computer is directed to attempt to open (save to file) utilizing a greeting card software I have. Needless to say, after getting married and going away on a honeymoon I have people probably thinking I just don't want to talk to them!!! Any suggestions?

What browser are you using? Not long ago I had a similar problem with Blogger that turned out to be an issue at their end with IE8. Also, I seem to recall reading that Facebook has been having issues recently with deactivating accounts in error. You might want to contact Facebook directly. I'm sure they have a help forum.
