I'm having problems with a browser hijacking malware somewhere on my computer. When I first got it I was being consistently redirected to a interstitial page with the title Quick Question before Viewing Site that was asking for details on the topic of the page I wanted to go to.

I think this is only happening when I am browsing deviantArt.com (using Mozilla FireFox) first I'd click on a link, then it would redirect to something titled click.aspx in my internet history (meta.7search.com....) then through Redirect (redirect.clickshield.net/jump...) then to Welcome (7search.com/scripts...) I can't recall having the same issue on any other page I browse, but I usually open links in new tab, rather than just click a link like I am won't to do at deviantArt.

This is the history of what happened last time I tried to check my favourites link from deviantArt.com:

http://rc12.overture.com/....
http://www.asklots.com/....
http://www.okeeko3.com/go.php?....
http://www.everywhereinternet.com.au/....
http://www.xlife.com.au/....
http://www.asklots.com/....
http://www.okeeko3.com/....
http://www.okeeko.com/....

Since Spybot Search and Destroy wasn't picking up anything, I went looking and installed AVG Anti-Virus Free, Ad-Aware and Microsoft Defender, but while I'm not getting the exact same problem I'm still having issues. For instance, when I'm at my own deviantArt page, I go to the favourites link and it takes for ever not to load, meanwhile its "waiting to connect" to 200 different suspicious sounding pages, then briefly takes me to asklots.com then dumps me on google.com.au

Anyone got an answer to my issues? Thanks if advance, much appreciated.

Okay, I feel stupid, but I just cleared my cache and it seems to have fixed the current problem so the emergency is over. But I'm unsure if I have anything else floating around in the background I'm not aware of, so if anyone has some time they aren't devoting to other issues could they still take a look? Otherwise thanks for providing a forum where I can discuss these problems.
