I am running Office 2003 on a Tablet PC. InWord and Outlook application I have inserted a hyperlink from the menu succesfully. However, sometimes I would like to type the path where the information is stored, either on the network or via the web. When I type path into an email or a document and press the enter key the text does not turn blue or is seen as a hyperlink.

Go to Tools > AutoCorrect options > AutoFormat as you type > check the box for "internet and network paths with hyperlinks".
