Wow this just drives me insane. Alright I have a laptop and I've liked this thing for the longest time, but now it's pissing me off. My screen will randomly choose to flicker and at times go completely black. The only way I know of fixing this is by wrestling with the screen for about 5 minutes, shoving it back and forth until it stops. All though I know beating the crap out of my laptop is not a good idea and I'm looking for a permanent fix, before I screw anything up. I'm thinking perhaps I need to do some tinkering with the V.P.U drivers, or whatever drivers send the image to my screen. It's either that or I may have to detach the screen and physically start monkeying around. And I'm really hoping I don't actually have detach anything here, but I am prepared to do so if need be.
My computer is a Gateway MX7515 AMD Athlon 64 4000+ 2.59 Ghz. Thank you much.
