I've recently had my system cleared and checked through the Hijack This team but I just can't seem to get my desktop background to quit flashing. The Display Properties only show two tabs (Screen Saver and Settings). I also keep getting a pop-up from my computer entitled Desktop that says: Internet Explorer cannot find the Active Desktop HTML file. This file is needed for your Active Desktop. To turn off Active Desktop, click OK.

Did you click "OK" to shut off Active Desktop?
