Hi.

Usually I just turn my computer on and I don't have to log in manually.

Now suddenly it shows me the page with the user accounts and when I click on my account it says that it's loading the account, but the next second it tells me that it is logging out and I'm on the page with the accounts again.

I only have this one account so I can't try it with another account.

So I just cannot turn on my computer.

Someone help me quick please

Have you tried logging into safe mode...and creating a new user account?

Sounds like your current user profile may be damaged, IMO.

Yes, I've tried that, but when trying to log into safe mode the same problem occurs.

I wonder why I have to log in at all, I never had to.

One of the provisions of using MS.NET...is a login screen for all users...single, multiple, limited, admin.

If you installed this recently, that may be why.

In any case, I don't know of a way to replace your profile (if that is the problem) without being able to get into XP. Me, I would simply do a repair install of XP.

I tried a repair install, but at the point where I'm suppoused to enter "cd system32" (found that info on another forum) it only lets me enter one letter, so I can't do the repair install.
