You are probably going to have to reinstall Norton after this. if this is a problem do not continue.

I want you to fix some of those entries. Please do the following:

Please make sure that you can view all hidden files. Instructions on how to do this can be found here:

How to see hidden files in Windows

Run Hijackthis again, click scan, and Put a checkmark next to each of these. Then click the Fix button

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Microsoft Update Time] wuam.exe
O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [Spyware Doctor] "C:\Program\Spyware Doctor\spydoctor.exe" /Q

Reboot your computer into Safe Mode

Then delete these files or directories (Do not be concerned if they do not exist)

C:\WINDOWS\EliteBar\EliteBar version 48.dll
c:\windows\system32\wuam.exe

Reboot your computer to go back to normal mode and post a new log.

You would want to choose Normal startup in msconfig.

When you fix these entries, if you get a popup from Spybot asking if you would like to allow the change, you must specify that you want to allow it or it will not work.

I want you to fix some of those entries. Please do the following:

Please make sure that you can view all hidden files. Instructions on how to do this can be found here:

How to see hidden files in Windows

Run Hijackthis again, click scan, and Put a checkmark next to each of these. Then click the Fix button

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {28CAEFF3-0F18-4036-B504-51D73BD81C3A} - (no file)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [cyberfree.exe] C:\DOCUME~1\TOMMIE~1\LOKALA~1\Temp\lnod.dat

Reboot your computer into Safe Mode

Then delete these files or directories (Do not be concerned if they do not exist)

C:\DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS\TOMMIE~1\LOKAL SETTINGS\Temp\lnod.dat

Reboot your computer to go back to normal mode and post a new log.

I want you to click on start, then run, and type msconfig and press enter.

Click on the startup tab and find the entry for teatimer. When you find it, remove the checkmark next to it. then press ok and let your computer reboot.

When it boots back up, fix this:

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {28CAEFF3-0F18-4036-B504-51D73BD81C3A} - (no file)

Reboot and post a new log
