I recently upgraded to IE8 through the normal Windows update process. I am using Vista Home Premium. It was a seamless process and all seemed well until I tried to Access a FTP website that I use frequently. I go to open the website in Windows Explorer and it prompts me for my username and password. It will not let me in. My co workers are having the same problem with IE8. We have a computer with IE7 and am able to logon fine. Any idas about what is up with IE8 and why it confuses the FTP site logon?

It could be IE8 compatibility issues. You should contact the website as they might not be aware of it and then go back to IE7 until they fix it.
