OK, my wife wants a nice little MP3 player to take with her to the gym, running through the park, ignoring me... etc. She pointed me to an IPOD Mini, which costs about $200 for the 4gb. she's looking for something "cute" and small doesn't matter how much space it has. In my openion, all IPOD are rather big, save for the shuffle. I pointed to a very small Sony Network walkman, which is the same price, with only 1gb of space. It's a flash memory player, and has an FM tuner, which the IPod doesn't.

Anyone have any opinions on the IPOD? I'm leaning towards the smaller Sony, but can be suaded to the IPOD if given good reasons.

P.S. it's a b-day present.
