My sister's laptop a couple of weeks ago was infected with Windows Police Pro. She went off to college before I was able to follow the instructions (the one about "read this before posting a topic")

I don't know what happened, but its going haywire, and it won't open the DDS thing. I won't open any of the malware removers.

Some of the other problem are:
  • All of the anti-viruses doesn't work, none of them will open
  • Root Repeal won't open
  • Task Manager won't open, it's all gray fuzz
  • During Start Up, all desktop items would be gone.
  • It automatically restarts multiple times
  • When using Google, it goes to different links instead of what she is looking for
  • Pop Ups - "Windows cannot access specified device path or file. You may not have the appropriate conditions to access the item."
  • She can't go into her settings and Control Panel
  • Internet Pop ups - More than usual
This is what she is telling me through the phone. She isn't able to get into her g-mail account when she was trying to get her activation code for this site.
Is there anyway for you guys to help? If I am posting this in the wrong forum again, please notify me right away. I'm posting this for her through my computer, so I'll try my best to have her do this with me through the phone.

Thank You, and PLEASE reply soon. She's going to kill me.

Let's see if we can get some scans to complete

Please download Win32kDiag.exe by AD and save it to your desktop.
alternate download 1
alternate download 2
  • This tool will create a diagnostic report for me to review.
  • Double-click on Win32kDiag.exe to run and let it finish.
  • When it states Finished! Press any key to exit..., press any key on your keyboard to close the program.
  • A file called Win32kDiag.txt should be created on your Desktop.
  • Open that file in Notepad and copy/paste the entire contents (from Starting up... to Finished! Press any key to exit...) in your next reply.

    --------------------------------------
Go to Posted Image > Run..., then copy and paste this command into the open box: cmd
Click OK.
At the command prompt C:\>, copy and paste the following command and press Enter:
DIR /a/s %windir%\scecli.dll %windir%\netlogon.dll %windir%\eventlog.dll >Log.txt & START notepad Log.txt
A file called log.txt should be created on your Desktop.
Open that file and copy/paste the contents in your next reply.
