I installed Ad-Aware but it won't complete a scan. I uninstalled and re-installed and had the same problem. Would like to use this product. It scans up to approx. 110,000 files and then sits there.

Try running it in Safe Mode.

Thanks for the reply but I should have mentioned that I had tried that and it didn't work. I have a couple of more ideas to try before I surrender.
