Yesterday, my internet connection was fine, I was able to watch videos without any lag. Then I went out so I turned it off. When I came home and turned the computer back on, the internet connection was mysteriously slow. I tried watching some videos on Youtube and other sites but they would only load about 3 seconds worth of video every several minutes. Some sites also took longer than usual to load. Downloads take forever - a 4.8MB file should usually take only several minutes at the most but I have one currently downloading which is taking 22 minutes and counting. I restarted the computer but that improved the internet speed only marginally. I didn't install any new programs and I ran AVG 8.5 Free but it came up negative. My OS is Windows XP Professional, Service Pack 3. Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.

Nevermind, it was just a loose cable. My bad. :flowers:
