xp/vista partition help

Hello everyone, i am currently running windows xp sp3 but want to install vista in a different partition to see if i like it. what i want to do is move all my fils from the xp partition over to the vista partition and then delete the xp partition , how would i go about doing that

At the risk of sounding Dumb :huh:

can you not see the partitions as a seperate drive??

If you can then just do a simple copy and paste
