Is IEXPLORE.EXE a bad file?

According to the Startup list on this forum, IEXPLORE.EXE is from a trojan or worm. Is that correct? It shows up in the task manager under processes.

It might be a trojan, or maybe not depending on where it is located. If it is here it is probably okay.

C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE

If it is located somewhere else I would be worried.
