Crazy problem needs fixing fast

hello all im new to this form room so....... hi lol

well lets see my problem is that sometimes when i start my computer it get past the POST and then to the windows xp loading screen and then for some reason the monitor goes off and the orange light flashes on it and i say and both my philips cd-rw also get a solid orange light lighting out of them both.
eney 1 help me with this problem i have tryed every thing

computer spec are:
CPU: AMD Duron 1.2gig
RAM: 632mb
HDD:120gig
Graphics card: gforce mx 400 64mb PCI

Did you build this computer or buy it new?

Computer problems come up all the time, it's those that stay we fight!

Please let us know some more information?

We need to know your full system.

What happened to create this problem?

Did you add anything lately?

I know its a pain to explain but it helps us to trouble shoot the problem.

i built this computer my self and b4 i started getting this problem i did nothing at all. i just did not play on it 4 a few days then when i came 2 play my mp3s this happend there has been no changes in hardware or software.

if you need eney more info just ask.

RAM is : 2x 256mb 1x 128mb SDRAM 133
