I have the Windows Pro virus and Police pro viruses, probably among others. I started the computer in safe mode, and was able to search and find the Police files and I think I have those deleted, atleast the police popups have stopped. Now, when I'm not in safe mode, I can go on the internet only for a short moment before Windows pro Antivirus pops up. I have tried installing a reinstalling my antiviruses and ones I've hunted the internet and found that were recommended, with no luck. Malware bytes runs for 2 or 3 seconds and closes. I went to the removal guides on this site and they didn't help any. If there is anyone who can help walk me through this, I would be unbelievably grateful. I don't know a lot of computer terms, intermediate is a stretch for my computer knowledge. I can get on the internet fine (fine for having a virus) in safe mode. It's slow, but working. (I have been getting the typical "Can't load program" pop ups every person I have seen on the various sites I;ve searched, I don't remember them word for word or anything, but they are common ones)

If anyone can help me, can you please tell me whether or not I have to be in safe mode? My regular mode is just a blue screen with a cursor and fake ad virus pop up. I have to ceate a new user account in safe mode, restart, then log into that new account. Usually I can only log in a few times under that account before it goes blue with emptyness, not even the start menu shows up.

I would really really appreciate your help as soon as possible. THANK YOU

p.s.-forgive me if this is the wrong place to post this request, I am trying to limit my time on the internet, and knew this section was 'postable' and was familiar with it

You have a rootkit infection

Please download Win32kDiag.exe by AD and save it to your desktop.
alternate download 1
alternate download 2
  • This tool will create a diagnostic report for me to review.
  • Double-click on Win32kDiag.exe to run and let it finish.
  • When it states Finished! Press any key to exit..., press any key on your keyboard to close the program.
  • A file called Win32kDiag.txt should be created on your Desktop.
  • Open that file in Notepad and copy/paste the entire contents (from Starting up... to Finished! Press any key to exit...) in your next reply.

    --------------------------------------
Go to Posted Image > Run..., then copy and paste this command into the open box: cmd
Click OK.
At the command prompt C:\>, copy and paste the following command and press Enter:
DIR /a/s %windir%\scecli.dll %windir%\netlogon.dll %windir%\eventlog.dll >Log.txt & START notepad Log.txt
A file called log.txt should be created on your Desktop.
Open that file and copy/paste the contents in your next reply.

Now that you were successful in creating those two logs you need to post them in our HJT forum:
First, try to run a DDS / HJT log as outlined in our preparation guide:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/34773/preparation-guide-for-use-before-using-malware-removal-tools-and-requesting-help/
If it won't run, don't worry, just give a brief description and tell them that these logs were all you could get to run successfully
Post them here:
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/f/22/virus-trojan-spyware-and-malware-removal-logs/

The HJT team is extremely busy, so be patient and good luck

I have the dds thing saved tothe desktop, and when I clock it, it goes to the black dos screen, but immediately closes out. I cant read what it says because it is almost instant how it disappears. I scrolledthough the forum postingrules to that section you sent in your reply, and I see it had rootrepeal. I saw on a different site to download that, and I did, but I can't open it and have it run. I can't get any antivirus to run, or this dds. What do I do since I can't get it to make even a blank notepad log? As far as I know, any script blocking things aren't activated, but again, tats as far as I know. I know I haven't activated anything lately, and I'm not entirely sure what to look for to make sure they're deactivated.
