I have a HPG60-243CL notebook computer with Windows Vista 32-bit. I have run scans and my computer is free from any spyware or anything. The problem is that whenever I go to the Uninstall/Install a Program in the Control Panel, click to uninstall a program, the screen says preparing to uninstall.... but after waiting a long time, the computer still doesn't do anything.

I am not sure how to fix your problem. It would depend on when and how it started etc.But a very good programme for removing programmes is revo uninstaller. You can have a look at it at www.revouninstaller.com were it will tell you all about it.It is freeware as well so will cost you nothing.
