I am actually toying with the idea of making a spyware Wiki here.

Gonna take a look at the wiki software tomorrow.

hi!

ok, now, how do you use wiki?

i understand the purpose and what it does...but how do you set up a wiki site?

do you have to be a server administrator? or do you just upload files to your host server?

i downloaded wiki and looked at the files but i was not sure how to get started...

any help?

Thanks!!!

You would need to have a computer that acts as a webserver. You then would download a wiki and configure it as per its instructions. The one I linked to earlier in this post requires the server to support PHP and to have the ability to create a mysql database.

Once i have that its extremely easy.

If you want to plasy around with a wiki you can find one here:

You know as much about using one as I do right now though

Thanks a lot Grinler!

So that answer a big part of my question...the server part...which i don't have.

So it is out for me, but I might be able to set this up at work, so I will check out that wiki site and keep learning as I go...

If I learn anything I will add it here, and maybe you or others will do the same!

Thanks agian!
