Found out this morning that my Hotmail address book has seemingly been hacked and a company called www.selectsomeinfo are sending my contacts an ad for online clothes etc bargains. I have changed my password and alerted all my contacts that the email has nothing to do with me. I have scanned my PC and neither my AV, SAS, Malwarebytes, has found anything. My Hijack This log is clean and I have scanned with Rootkit revealer also clean. Can anyone shed any light on how this can happen and is it enough to just change my password or are there any other measures I should take such as reporting it to someone/body or whatever else you think appropriate. Sorry for my ignorance but it is the first time this has happened to me.
