Can someone please tell me what to do. When inserted. It is always saying. Usb not recognised. And the gamepad light is on to signify that it is connected.

Go into your Device Manager and click on the +'s by USB hub controllers
Delete them all and reboot
Windows will reinstall them and see if it works

If the gamepad came with an installation/driver CD you might try running it again

Having grandkids is God's way of giving you a 2nd chance because you were too busy working your butt off the 1st time around
