HI,
I am new at this site and only hope I am following your rules.
I purchased my computer new 8 years ago and I am the only user.
It is currently plugged into a router that is sitting beside a Comcast box.
(My wife's computer is in another room)
Today I was browsing in Control Panel, Internet Connections, Internet Properties, Content, My Profile.
To my surprise, the only name and e-mail address there is someone I have
never heard of before.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Are you sure you weren't viewing another persons "Profile?

I have "My Profile" under Internet Properties>Content. It is towards the bottom of the page below "AutoComplete". When I click on it, it shows that it is for the address book and brings up a box where I can create a new entry in the address book to represent my profile and then some other option that is grayed out. Below that there is a blank box as I have never created a profile or put any entries in an address book.

I have no idea why you would have a profile there for someone other than yourself.
