I had a friend look at my computer [bit more computer savvy than I am] who is a computer tech.

He was as puzzled as I have become with error messages ... lots of posts .. but NO real fix

He has suggested copy all info from C drive to other drive [done] .... in case NO fix .. may reload XP PRO

The 'culprit' I believe is a avi saved on desktop; as every time I try to delete ... the LOOPING BEGINS

[WINDOWS EXPLORER STOPPED WORKING ... shutting down & Windows Host Process rundll32 has stopped working and will shut down [loop] reopen

SO ... Any ideas on how to resolve issue with avi file????

Any & All input greatly appreciated ;)

You seem to have a Virus. I'm going to recommend you re-post this in the "Am I Infected Forum."
