I got a virus and im not sure what to do about it The virus has disabled all my anti virus programs. It also has blocked all the websites that give free online virus scans. So i said forget it im just gonna format the computer and start from fresh. Well when i rebooted and popped in the windows cd the cd wouldnt spin. It appears that the virus was able to disable my cd rom drive as well. I went into the bios and made sure all the devices are loading in the proper order and they are. Im really stumped with what I can do to fix this computer. I almost got lucky and fixed it by using a program called avast free virus scan which was the only virus scan which I was allowed to use for some reason. It said it picked up a bunch of back door trojans. I was going to write down all the names of the trojans it picked up but i couldnt get them all but i got 2. Ones called Trojan.temp and its located in c:\windows\system32.tmp. The other is called Backdoor.Hupigon.ezx and its located in HKLM\system\current\controlset\services\netlogin. Now i know theres omre viruses on the comp because avast shut down my comp and did a virus scan before it loaded to the desktop and it literally looked as if every file on my computer was infected somehow. Anyway avast said it fixed all the problems and when i rebooted i found out it didnt fix anything. The virus also disabled safemode. Also when its booting up and i press f12 and ask the computer to boot from a disk it doesnt allow me. it just reboots the comp. Im also running off of windows xp pro. If anyone has any suggestions or has had this same problem please get back to me.

Please download Win32kDiag.exe by AD and save it to your desktop.
alternate download 1
alternate download 2
  • This tool will create a diagnostic report for me to review.
  • Double-click on Win32kDiag.exe to run and let it finish.
  • When it states Finished! Press any key to exit..., press any key on your keyboard to close the program.
  • A file called Win32kDiag.txt should be created on your Desktop.
  • Open that file in Notepad and copy/paste the entire contents (from Starting up... to Finished! Press any key to exit...) in your next reply.
Go to Posted Image > Run..., then copy and paste this command into the open box: cmd
Click OK.
At the command prompt C:\>, copy and paste the following command and press Enter:
DIR /a/s %windir%\scecli.dll %windir%\netlogon.dll %windir%\eventlog.dll >Log.txt & START notepad Log.txt
A file called log.txt should be created on your Desktop.
Open that file and copy/paste the contents in your next reply.
