Does anyone have any advice on how to ge the Vipre anti-virus out of the computer? Thanks

Uninstall it, through add/remove programs like it says here: http://support.sunbeltsoftware.com/Default...x?answerid=1714

Would be my first thought.

I personally advice to go with genuine antivirus like comodo, kaspersky etc., rather than going to unknown antiviruses.

Vipre my be unknown to some, but it is not an 'unknown' Antivirus. The product is as good if not better than some of the more recognized brands.
